Volunteer of the Year in 2006, Rachael Gillette is now excited and proud to be a part of Ronald McDonald House staff as the Special Campaigns Coordinator. She says the Ronald McDonald House is an inspiring place to be and the staff is a great team of people who work tirelessly to make the House the best that it can be. She is a British citizen and moved to Pensacola five years ago when she married her husband Paul. Rachael has a B.A. in Law and American Studies and holds the Bar of England and Wales, from the Inns of Court School of Law, London. She practiced law, as a barrister, in England for nine years before moving to Pensacola, and is now a Family Law mediator. Rachael enjoys helping others and volunteered with Guardian Ad Litem program and the Arts Council before joining the Ronald McDonald House as a volunteer three years ago. She is now an active member of Pensacola Young Professionals and Impact 100, and is dedicated to making Pensacola a better place to live and work. In her free time Rachael is an avid sailor and loves to race with her husband and friends on their sailboat Atlantic Union. |
