KAPS FOR KIDS - May 7, 2008
By far the largest source of funding (accounts for approximately 25% of total income) for the Northwest Florida Ronald McDonald House is an annual event called Kaps for Kids. In 2007, over 500 businesses and individuals participated in a casual day at the office by making a donation to RMH and wearing Kaps for Kids t-shirts or hats. The 2007 event raised more than $104,000 from supporters in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton and Bay Counties. For every item that is ordered, the name is entered into a drawing to win a pair of round trip tickets donated by Continental Airlines.
