HOW TO STAY
If you are interested in staying at our House, please contact the RMH Family Services Manager at 850.477.2273.

Why would you want to stay?
Our safe, secure, home-like environment is only moments from the hospital or clinic treating your child. Staying with us eliminates long drives home & costly hotel stays. Your private bedroom will give you room to relax and escape the stresses of the day. You will be comforted by other families who understand the difficulties relating to childhood illness, surgery, premature birth and trauma.

How much does it cost to stay?
Services provided by the House are absolutely free of charge. We request a $7.50 donation per night you stay, but you are not required to contribute.

WHO CAN STAY?

Families That...

• live 25 miles or more from the Pensacola hospital or clinic serving their child
• have a child 18 years of age or younger receiving medical care
• have a current government issued picture ID & proof of address
• don't have a picture ID with current address must have the following proof of co-habitation/residency to stay at RMH together: a bill, insurance, pg. 2 of military record, a lease (address on ALL documents must be typed not handwritten)
• are made up of parents under the age of 18, can stay if accompanied by a legal guardian at all times. If the minor parent is legally emancipated, legal documentation of emancipation must be provided.

If your history includes...
• Misdemeanor or felony charges
• An active restraining order
• Violence or domestic violence
• Drug abuse within the past year

You MUST explain the situation prior to being eligible to stay at RMH.

Respite Care is available for those not meeting mileage requirements.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida reserves the right to refuse service to any individual based on the needs of the organization

• Warm meals donated by individual donors or businesses
• Fresh food & more provided weekly by Albertson's
• All the sweets you can eat
• Family room with videos, books, magazines & comfortable sofas
• Children's indoor & outdoor play areas
• Scrapbooking supplies
• Long distance calling cards
• Computers with internet access
• Welcome bags with toiletries & extras
• Laundry facilities & supplies

We ask that you bring your own clothing, toiletries & special food items.
STAFF IS AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY.
