ANDREA FARAGE...
Andrea Farage is the executive director of the Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Florida. She has served in this capacity for five years following two years of service as a volunteer for the Kaps for Kids program. Andrea holds a BA from Florida State University as well as professional certification to teach grades 6-12 English in the state of Florida. Andrea has been an educator, the manager of the Newspaper in Education Program, and a community volunteer. She has a strong commitment to making a difference in the lives of others and was taught early the value of service by her father who was a naval officer and aviator for 24 years. Andrea co-chairs several committees for Pensacola Downtown Rotary, served on the 2006 District 6940 conference committee. She served as the Program Chair for RYLA in 2005, volunteered as a group leader in 2004 and a facilitator in 2003. Andrea has also served as a curriculum committee day chair for Leadership Pensacola for three years and has co-chaired Youth LeaP for the past two years. She is an alumni of LeaP 2003 and of the 2006 Leadership Okaloosa class. She co-chairs the Washington High Interact Club and is a member of Liberty Sertoma. In 2005, she was honored by her selection as one of the top 40 under 40 leaders in Northwest Florida. Andrea feels fortunate to be in her position at the Ronald McDonald House and looks forward to expanding the ways the house can serve our community.
